Bloodworks Northwest is seeking personable individuals to provide reliable and responsible transportation of licensed blood components and related products. The On-Call Courier position will fill shifts for regularly scheduled staff who are unavailable for work and shifts that are temporarily open due to a change in staffing. These positions will fill shifts that are not part of the regular schedule. The Transportation Department operates 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. This is a part-time, on-call position for individuals that can work less than 16 hours per week on some occasions and over 24 hours per week on others, based on department need.

Applicants must be reliable, neat in appearance, enjoy working with people, computer literate with ability to multitask, and be able to work flexible schedules in a 24-hour environment.

Requirements include:
  • High School graduate or G.E.D.
  • Possess and maintain a driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Must maintain a valid WA State driver's license and meet the MVR standards required by the Bloodworks Vehicle Safety and Training Policy
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/chemical dependency test
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds.


The starting wage for this Non-Exempt position is $15.00 per hour. Please include Job Number #8078 on all correspondence. Open until filled.
