Test Information Patients testing positive for APC resistance or the Factor V Leiden mutation should be considered for testing for the Factor II (Prothrombin) G20210A variant. Individuals who are homozygous or heterozygous for the 20210A genotype have a 3-to 5-fold elevated risk for venous thrombosis.
