Student Blood Drive Incentive Programs

Summer Student Incentive Program
June 20 – September 19, 2020

Bloodworks Northwest is offering a brand new Summer Student Incentive Program to high school and college students and School Groups to aid in the recruitment of blood donors to Pop-Up locations and Donor Centers during the summer months.

Students/School Groups can choose between either recruiting donors for a Half-Day Takeover or consecutive Two-Week Virtual Drive to donate at either a Donor Center or Pop-Up Location.

  • Individual Scholarship: Students earn Scholarship rewards by recruiting donors to earn money for college expenses, including tuition, fees, books, supplies, or even to pay off student loans. Students receive a Certificate of Excellence in leadership and project management experience for their professional portfolio.
  • School Group Fundraiser: Designed for school groups to recruit blood donors by hosting a group fundraise to earn money to use towards group events, fees, books, supplies, equipment, programs, or related educational expenses. See the program’s Official Rules for a complete description.

School groups: An administration-approved and institutionally recognized high school, college, or accredited education institution organization or club consisting of four or more people that is student based and/or focused, tied to a department on campus with oversight from that department, or whose purpose is intended to be a student learning experience.

To participate, a student must be at least 16 years old and enrolled in high school, college, or an accredited educational institution.

*Before we can schedule your scholarship period, you will need to gather a minimum number of commitments from people who pledge to donate blood at your drive.
