Long term marrow transplant (HSCT) recipient follow up

Indications This battery can be ordered for a patient who has received an allogeneic bone marrow transplant.  The goal is to provide detailed information about the patient’s blood type in relation to the donor blood type.
Test Information Testing includes ABO and D typing and direct and indirect antiglobulin tests. If the transplant involved a major ABO mismatch, the percent A or B cells present in the sample and titer of anti-A or anti-B in plasma will be determined.

Sample Requirements EDTA tube. Serum separator gel tube is not acceptable.
Requested Volume 1 full 7 ml EDTA sample
Minimum Volume or Pediatric volume Minimum volume: 1 full 7 ml EDTA sample
Pediatric: 1 full 3 ml EDTA sample; neonate: 2 full 0.5 ml EDTA microtainers
