Bloodworks Northwest relies heavily on the continued support from University of Washington students , faculty and staff to keep our blood supply adequate and stable. There is simply no substitute for blood and 900 donors are needed every day. Because of your support we are able to help patients in local area hospitals and medical centers, such as UWMC, Harborview, Children’s Hospital with your lifesaving gift.
We invite you to donate blood at any of these campus locations. Give time. Give Blood. And bring a friend to double your impact!

When you donate blood for research, you contribute to scientific knowledge and medical breakthroughs that may help people with cancer, heart disease, and autoimmune diseases in the future. If you are not eligible to donate to the community blood supply, you can still help others by donating blood for research! Learn more.
