Every year we organize the following events in collaboration with the Bleeding Disorder Foundation of Washington (BDFWA).
Golf Gets In Your Blood!
Golf Gets In Your Blood! is an annual golf tournament and dinner/auction raising money to benefit the BDFWA and Bloodworks Northwest. Funds raised from this event support Camp I-Vy, a weeklong summer retreat for children with hemophilia and other bleeding conditions. Event revenue also funds medical breakthroughs in hemophilia research. When you support this event, you can be sure that your investment will be put to work responsibly by two well-established organizations that keep people with bleeding disorders happy and healthy.
Camp I-VY
Camp I-Vy is one of the most eagerly anticipated events for children with hemophilia and their families. Each year, campers spend a few days in the great outdoors learning home treatment skills and participating in physical activities which promote good health and positive self-esteem. Camp I-Vy also offers families an opportunity to meet other parents and siblings living with hemophilia. Camp I-Vy is a joint effort of the Hemophilia Care Program and the BDFWA.
