Test Information | An enzyme linked immunosorbant assay (ELISA) using a complex of heparin and Platelet Factor 4 (PF4) is used to capture antibody developed during type II Heparin-Induced Thrombocytopenia (HIT). Detection of IgG antibody along with a strong clinical history supports a diagnosis of HIT. |
