Sample Requirements Whole blood–red cells and plasma (EDTA, heparin, ACD, CPD, CPDA-1, CP2D)
Requested Volume 6 mL
Minimum Volume or Pediatric volume 1 mL
Sample Information Segments for blood donor units are acceptable for testing until the expiration date of the unit.  Acceptable anticoagulants for this purpose are ACD, CPD, CPDA-1, and CP2D.
Shipping Information Samples (EDTA and Heparin) are acceptable at 2-8°C for 10 days if refrigerated within 24 hours of draw.
